The global color authority Pantone Color Institute has chosen "Living Coral" as the color of 2019. For those unfamiliar, the Pantone Color Institute predicts global color trends within Pantone and advises companies on color choices for both brand identity and product development. Since 2000, they have chosen a color each year based on a specific theme. For 2019, they chose the color coral, drawing attention to dying corals with the word "living," a theme also used in their slogan.

Although we first saw its reflections on social media, these colors, determined by Pantone, are guiding many sectors such as fashion, cosmetics, jewelry, decoration-architecture, and gastronomy. Underlying this vibrant coral color, which warms our hearts, lies optimism and humanity's pursuit of happiness. Doesn't nature and flowers possess these color tones, and don't they evoke the same feeling when we see, touch, and smell them?
