What to Consider When Choosing a Balcony Plant?
Unlike indoor plants, balcony plants must withstand direct sun, wind, and temperature fluctuations. The olive tree is one of the most resistant species to these conditions; hydrangeas in baskets, on the other hand, are preferred as a shorter-term, seasonal outdoor decoration. In regions where there is a risk of frost during the winter months, it is recommended to bring the plant indoors at night.

Hydrangea in the basket
For those who want to add seasonal color and flowers, its flowering period is limited.
Winter protection
Taking the plant indoors or covering it on frosty nights will prevent root and leaf damage.

Things to note during delivery
- If there are limitations on elevator/door width for balcony or terrace access, please specify this in the order notes.
- The plant is sensitive to cold during the winter months; the courier packaging protects it.
- If the recipient is not found at the address, the recipient is contacted first, then the sender.

Balcony Plants with Ribbon Flowers
Ribbon Flowers was founded in 2014 by Buse Üçer in Reşitpaşa as a weekly flower delivery service; today, together with Ömer Üçer, it operates from its workshop in Etiler Bebeköy, serving all of Istanbul with its own courier team. Co-founder Buse Üçer was selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA program in 2023. This guide is based on the workshop's twelve years of ordering experience and the brand's published ordering policies; stock and product information is updated regularly.
Flowers are natural products; even within the same design, there may be slight variations in tone, stem, and level of openness. Vases, pots, or packaging may vary depending on stock availability; the orderer will be informed in advance of any possible changes. The current product description, delivery screen, and order confirmation are the primary sources for making a purchase decision.

Flowers are perishable and therefore an exception to the general right of withdrawal. You must submit your cancellation or change request via WhatsApp, phone, or email before your order is prepared and before delivery.
