Which Flowers Should Be Chosen for an Engagement or Wedding?
Engagement and betrothal ceremonies are celebrations where families officially unite after the proposal; therefore, the floral arrangements are usually larger and more elaborate than those for the formal proposal. Roses, peonies, orchids, and calamus are the most commonly used flowers; large-scale custom orders (200 stems and above) also fall into this category.

- For large-scale designs (200 handles and above), it is recommended to contact us in advance to confirm stock availability.
- Since the ceremony date is fixed, it is recommended to place your order at least 2-3 days in advance.
- If the recipient is not found at the address, the recipient is contacted first, then the sender.

Ribbon Flowers was founded in 2014 by Buse Üçer in Reşitpaşa as a weekly flower delivery service; today, together with Ömer Üçer, it operates from its workshop in Etiler Bebeköy, serving all of Istanbul with its own courier team. Co-founder Buse Üçer was selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA program in 2023. This guide is based on the workshop's twelve years of ordering experience and the brand's published ordering policies; stock and product information is updated regularly.
Flowers are natural products; even within the same design, there may be slight variations in tone, stem, and level of openness. Vases, pots, or packaging may vary depending on stock availability; the orderer will be informed in advance of any possible changes. Orders placed before 16:00 for Beşiktaş, Şişli, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, and Kağıthane, and before 14:00 for the other 34 districts can be delivered the same day; delivery times can be selected as 10:00-16:00 or 16:00-20:00.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Flowers are perishable and therefore an exception to the general right of withdrawal. You must submit your cancellation or change request via WhatsApp, phone, or email before your order is prepared and before delivery. Refunds will be credited to your account within 7-10 days, depending on interbank processing times; details can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions and Distance Selling Agreement .
