The nature of the ceremony
What kind of flowers should be given for a first meeting, and how does it differ from flowers given for an engagement ceremony?
The initial meeting is a less formal gathering of families before the marriage decision, similar to the engagement ceremony. Therefore, the flowers for the initial meeting are generally simpler, medium-sized, and in pastel tones compared to the engagement bouquet. Showy and oversized bouquets might convey an exaggerated message; a simple mix of roses and seasonal flowers is sufficient as a heartfelt gesture.
Color selection
Pastel pink, apricot, and white tones are the most frequently chosen; they convey a warm and inviting message.
Dimension
Medium-sized bouquets (15-25 stems) are balanced for most initial ceremonies; very large bouquets are not necessary at this stage.
To whom is it sent?
Typically, the groom's family may send flowers to the bride's family, or both families may send flowers to each other as a small gesture.

Same-day delivery depends on product availability and the courier's capacity for that day. Ribbon Flowers does not use standard shipping; orders are delivered by its own courier team.

Things to note during delivery
- The ceremony is usually held at home; please enter the family's full home address as the address.
- There is a higher chance of finding a simple, medium-sized design in stock.
- If the recipient is not found at the address, the recipient is contacted first, then the sender.
- Card note must be added during ordering.

Introduction Flower with Ribbon Flowers
Ribbon Flowers was founded in 2014 by Buse Üçer in Reşitpaşa as a weekly flower delivery service; today, together with Ömer Üçer, it operates from its workshop in Etiler Bebeköy, serving all of Istanbul with its own courier team. Co-founder Buse Üçer was selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA program in 2023. This guide is based on the workshop's twelve years of ordering experience and the brand's published ordering policies; stock and product information is updated regularly.
Flowers are natural products; even within the same design, there may be slight variations in tone, stem, and level of openness. Vases, pots, or packaging may vary depending on stock availability; the orderer will be informed in advance of any possible changes. The current product description, delivery screen, and order confirmation are the primary sources for making a purchase decision.

Flowers are perishable and therefore an exception to the general right of withdrawal. You must submit your cancellation or change request via WhatsApp, phone, or email before your order is prepared and before delivery.
