• Provide indirect light. Direct sunlight burns the leaves; a bright spot behind a curtain is ideal.
• Water sparingly and infrequently. Once the roots dry out, watering with lukewarm water once a week is enough; never leave water at the base of the pot.
• Keep away from drafts. Air conditioning, heaters, and open windows accelerate flower drop.
• Leave the support stakes in place. Don't remove the stakes and clips too early; over time the branches will hold their own form.

While cut flowers typically stay fresh for 5-8 days, an orchid, under the right conditions, keeps its blooms for a much longer time. For more details, check out our flower care page.
