What characteristics should be considered when choosing a plant?
Three criteria stand out when choosing plants. Light: Yucca, olive trees, and succulents require plenty of light, while schefflera and maranta thrive in indirect light. Care: Succulents and yucca require infrequent watering; these easy-to-care-for plants are ideal for travelers. Size: 150-200 cm yucca and strelitzia plants fill living rooms, while succulent gardens and mini plants fit on tables. You can also check our office plants page for office plants.

Plant Characteristics with Ribbon Flowers
Ribbon Flowers was founded in 2014 by Buse Üçer in Reşitpaşa as a weekly flower delivery service; today, together with Ömer Üçer, it operates from its workshop in Etiler Bebeköy, serving all of Istanbul with its own courier team. Co-founder Buse Üçer was selected for the EY Entrepreneurial Winning Women EMEIA program in 2023. This guide is based on the workshop's twelve years of ordering experience and the brand's published ordering policies; stock and product information is updated regularly.
Flowers are natural products; even within the same design, there may be slight variations in tone, stem, and level of openness. Vases, pots, or packaging may vary depending on stock availability; the orderer will be informed in advance of any possible changes. The current product description, delivery screen, and order confirmation are the primary sources for making a purchase decision.

What should be considered when choosing plants?
The amount of light the space receives, the time the buyer can dedicate to care, and the mature height of the plant are the three most important criteria.
Which plant is suitable for a low-light space?
Species like Schefflera, Maranta, and Aglaonema can survive in indirect light; however, completely dark areas are not suitable for any plant.
Which plant requires the least maintenance?
Succulents and yucca require infrequent watering and are among the least maintenance-intensive plants because they store water in their stems and leaves.
Will my plant specifications order be delivered to Istanbul the same day?
Same-day delivery is available to all 39 districts of Istanbul, provided there is sufficient stock and courier capacity. Orders placed before 16:00 for Beşiktaş, Şişli, Sarıyer, Beyoğlu, and Kağıthane, and before 14:00 for the other 34 districts can be delivered the same day; delivery times can be selected as 10:00-16:00 or 16:00-20:00.
Can I cancel or change my order?
Flowers are perishable and therefore an exception to the general right of withdrawal. You must submit your cancellation or change request via WhatsApp, phone, or email before your order is prepared and before delivery. Refunds will be credited to your account within 7-10 days, depending on interbank processing times; details can be found in the Frequently Asked Questions and Distance Selling Agreement .
