  • Cut stems at an angle. Trimming each stem 1-2 cm at a 45-degree angle makes water absorption easier.
  • Change the water every two days. Rinse the vase each time you change the water and remove any leaves left in the water.
  • Keep away from heat and sunlight. Radiators, stoves and direct sunlight quickly wilt the edges of pink petals.
  • Don't place near a fruit bowl. Gases released by ripening fruit shorten the lifespan of roses and lisianthus.
