The Four Seasons and Their Flowers
THE FOUR SEASONS AND THEIR FLOWERS:
Seasons are caused by the Earth revolving around the sun. Due to its geographical location, our country experiences all four seasons.
1. WINTER SEASON (DECEMBER-JANUARY-FEBRUARY)
It is the coldest season. In Turkey, winter progresses from the northeastern Anatolia region westward. Let's take a look at the flowers we can grow during this cold season;
1. Atatürk Flower: It features a unique harmony of red and green. Watering this flower during its flowering period is especially important. It should be watered once a week.
2. Christmas Clover: It gets its name from the fact that it only blooms in December and January. It is long-lasting and durable. It should not be exposed to direct sunlight. It should be watered twice a week in summer and once a week in winter.
3. Begonia: Doesn't like direct sunlight. It likes water.
2. SPRING SEASON (MARCH-APRIL-MAY)
Winter is the season that falls between winter and summer. March, April, and May are considered the awakening of nature. It is a season of abundant rainfall. Let's take a look at the flowers of this season;
1. Cornflower (Blue Cornflower)
It belongs to the Asteraceae family. It has a herbaceous stem. This flower also has benefits for humans. It is used in the treatment of kidney stones, bronchitis, and coughs.
3. SUMMER SEASON (JUNE-JULY-AUGUST)
It is the warmest season with the longest days. During this season, you can create a unique sight in your garden with roses. Gladiolus would also be a beautiful choice.
1. Rose: It belongs to the Rosaceae family. Although its homeland is Anatolia, Iran, and China, it is cultivated in many places. It is a symbol of love. Each color carries a different meaning.

2. Gladiolus: This flower is most suitable for August. It is named after its sword-like shape, resembling a gladiator's sword. After roses and carnations, it is the most preferred flower in the cut flower industry. It grows easily in gardens and balconies.
4. AUTUMN SEASON (SEPTEMBER-OCTOBER-NOVEMBER)
It is a unique season that falls between summer and winter, featuring shades of orange. It is a harbinger of winter. Let's take a look at the flowers of this season;
1. Chrysanthemum: Symbolizes joy and happiness. According to Feng Shui, chrysanthemums bring happiness to the home.
