Pantone Very Peri is the trending color of 2022.

Pantone, the world-renowned color authority, has chosen the color of 2022. Described as "the happiest and warmest of blues," the new color is called "Very Fairy." Pantone announced that in light of the global developments that have impacted the world in recent years, they have focused on projects that bridge both the digital and physical worlds. The color is said to highlight how the isolation period has changed the world.

Presented as a new undertone of Algerian violet blue, Very Peri is also the company's first color created from scratch. Highly favored by celebrities, Very Peri has been worn by famous names for years. Expected to see its popularity increase exponentially in 2022, the color inspires calmness while also carrying the excitement of red.

Leatrice Eiseman, Executive Director of the Pantone Color Institute, expressed her thoughts with these words: "Finding a new color was really important to us. The choice of PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri brings a fresh perspective and vision to the trusted and beloved blue family. Last year, Pantone Color Institute declared two different colors as the color of the year: Ultimate Grey, a shade of gray, and Illuminating, a brighter shade of yellow.
