We are slowly leaving summer behind. Some of us made the most of our beach holidays, some went on cultural trips both domestically and internationally, and some worked hard and didn't even realize how quickly the summer passed. We're not sad that summer is ending; on the contrary, we're happy that those hot days are over and giving way to a slight coolness . The sweet scent and texture of autumn, its reflections in nature, a little culture, a little history, and a little flavor. The most beautiful routes that will make you say, "Everything is especially beautiful this season"... Let's explore, travel, and see together.

Garipçe village, located about 10 km from Sarıyer in Istanbul, is a rather unusual village, just like its name suggests. It's actually a fishing village. Lately, it's become a popular spot for those who want to feel like they're not in Istanbul. It's a small, unassuming, quiet, and laid-back place that makes you wonder, "Are there still places like this?" Sit at one of the restaurants by the sea and enjoy the fresh fish, the refreshing cool air, and the smell of the sea.

2. Polonezköy
Another suggested route comes from Beykoz district on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. This small village emerged in the 1840s when Poles fled their homeland during the war with Russia and sought refuge in the Ottoman Empire. Polonezköy, beautiful in every season, is a great choice for a weekend getaway or a day trip. While hiking in the nature park, don't forget to feel the sound of falling leaves, the wind, the scent of the forest, and all these beauties. At the entrance to the long trail, in the area called the "silence zone," enjoy your time away from your phones, the chaos and noise of the city. After your hike, don't forget to have breakfast surrounded by nature.

3. Abant and Yedigöller
Abant and Yedigöller are the first places that come to mind when thinking about autumn and winter. They are undoubtedly among the best places to see the enchanting colors of autumn. You can enjoy these beautiful places with overnight stays or day trips. Don't forget to take plenty of photos, walk along Lake Abant, and see the waterfall, Pythagoras tree, smiling rocks, and wishing fountain located within Yedigöller National Park.


4. Beypazarı
Beypazarı, a beloved destination for Ankara residents, is a must-visit thanks to its history and delicious cuisine. Located on the historic Silk Road, Beypazarı is one of the warmest and most charming places to experience and appreciate Anatolian culture. What can you do here? You can wander among the rows of beautiful wooden houses, take amazing photos, chat with the friendly locals, and explore the historic bazaar. Don't miss the opportunity to sample the delicious local specialties offered in front of their shops, such as the delicate stuffed grape leaves, the 80-layer baklava, and Beypazarı dried fruit.

5. Amasra
History, nature, tranquility... You'll find it all in Amasra. This small fishing town in Bartın is one of the rare places that has managed to remain authentic with its people, nature, and local flavors. You might be surprised by the kindness, respect, and boundless trust people show each other. The people living in this town still maintain their old habit of not locking their house or car doors, out of a sense of trust :)
In Amasra, you can enjoy the nature and the scent of the sea during the day, take plenty of walks and photos, or in the evening, savor fresh fish, the famous salads, mezes, and live music at its renowned fishermen's restaurants.

6. Cappadocia
Cappadocia, where nature displays all its generosity, is beautiful and enchanting in every season... It's wonderful to visit in autumn. If possible, opt for cave hotels for accommodation, be sure to taste its wines, and don't miss the sunrise!
