Bach Flower Therapy

BACH FLOWER THERAPY

Bach flower remedies are a healing method developed by the English doctor Edward Bach in the 1930s. Based on the philosophy that "to be healthy means to be in harmony with our soul," Edward Bach developed this therapy method believing that every physical ailment stems from a spiritual disorder.

Bach initially sought solutions in nature for physical ailments that could be caused by negative emotions such as fear, helplessness, indecision, insecurity, loss of joy in life, and lack of self-confidence. Through years of research, he developed the foundation of homeopathy, identifying 38 flowers used in this treatment. There are 38 different remedies, each representing a different spiritual and emotional structure, divided into 38 distinct groups. The flowers and their brief descriptions are given in Table 1.

Of course, the success of therapy depends on a good understanding of the person's mood and state of mind, and on the selection of the right flower essences. It should be remembered that this is not medicine. The content is for informational purposes only; for diagnosis and treatment, it is absolutely necessary to consult a doctor.
